Nominations for the inaugural H.C.D.A Awards for 2024 are now open!

HCDA are introducing these new awards that are based on the values of our club and are calling on our members to nominate
any worthy recipients that fit the criteria.

Please read the award descriptions below and submit your nominations by 12th Sept 2024.
The nominations will be put forward to a selection committee who will decide on the winners of each award. The awards will be presented at the End of Year Showcase and Presentation on the 12th October. 

Heart Award
The Heart Award is presented to a class helper or class manager as these positions require immense heart which encompasses the following qualities: patience, persistence, kindness and positivity.

Courage Award
The Courage Award is presented to a first-time performer, coach, manager, costume maker/decorator, event coordinator or volunteer who has demonstrated tremendous courage to take on any of these roles for the first time.

Determination Award
The Determination Award is presented to a pupil, coach, manager or club member who has overcome challenges throughout the year with positivity while demonstrating perseverance, commitment, resilience and determination.

Ambition Award
The Ambition Award is presented to a pupil who shows strong ambition, desire and effort to work towards and attempt high achievements by taking on multiple roles, volunteers at club events, performs in teams, solos, pupil skills etc. This award is not results based however, the recipient must show strong ambition.
